The braking mechanism that limits the speed of the wind turbine broke during a storm in Denmark. This was the outcome. 02/22-2008.

Bonus info:
-The tower of the mill was 60m high
-Wind speed was probably around 30 m/s
-You can see a truck at the base of the mill, but nobody was hurt. The mill had been evacuated 400m in each direction.

holy crap!
fuck lol well spotted!,How did u know it was going to do that lol?,and did u report it?,Thanks for uplaoding dude intresting!
yikes. that was really moving, lol
Wind turbines cost roughly 1000 EUR / KW and that works for almost all sizes (0,2 KW – 3.000 KW)
The one exploding is a 250 KW i think.
The blade length is around 15 meter i think.
New wind turbines both have a disk break and rotate the blades as a break.
replace it with a clean green nuclear reactor.
i wouldnt like to be near that when she blown
you tell me how long a peice of string is and i will tell you how many G’s it was spinning at.
Are u stupid, the g’s on the blade tip can be easily calculated.
if you read the more info discription it tells you that the brakes that regulate the speed of the blades had failed so the blades just got faster and faster until boom
Why did it “explode” like that and why did the peaces fall to the ground almost vertical, although there was a real badass storm going on?
wats a piece of string got ta do wit nytin?? retard?
how long is a peice of string
does anyone know roughly how many Gs the blade tips would be producing?
